Been going to the pool for a little over a year. The pool itself is great and it’s amazing that they train school age swimmers for competitions. The reason for the 3 stars is that their locker-rooms need some renovations. The lockers definitely need sprucing up. The actual lockers at least some paint inside and out and the shower curtains are in dire need to be changed. Also I wish they’d open all the windows or fans during training hours because it gets so uncomfortably warm and humid on the bleachers. Another note regarding the men’s locker rooms specifically is that sometimes the adults walk around “freely” even though there are elementary and middle school boys trying to change and shower as well and it gets uncomfortable for them. Apart from the locker area it truly is amazing place. Can’t wait till summer when they have little pool parties for the kids once a week.

During meets they open the doors but don’t have proper ventilation, it gets crazy hot in there, and most meets last for hours, athletes and supporters struggle with heat. Poor management

Great aquatic center in the RGV! We came down as part of the state amateur competition this year and was so worth the drive from Central Texas.

Very clean and well kept, staff very helpful. But wedo need another pool like this one. Brownsville keeps growing and half of the pool is always in use by swimming classes for children.
